Directions to Plaza Rio Tijuana Shopping Center, Sushi Tei, L'Abricot Patisserie and Cultural Center from Pueblo Amigo Shopping Center

Walk south-westerly though the Pueblo Amigo Shopping Center. As you exit the shopping center, you should be on Juventud Oriente (marked simply as "Oriente" on Guia Roji map). Looking straight ahead, across Juventud Oriente you will see the stone walls rising that form the side of the Tijuana River. Turn left and walk south-easterly along Juventud Oriente. Walk under the first pedestrian bridge you come to and walk 4 more blocks to Independencia. Climb the stairs to this vehicular bridge and use the sidewalk to walk across the Tijuana River. When you get to the other side, you will see the dome of the Cultural Center to your right and Plaza Rio Tijuana Shopping Center to your left.

For the Cultural Center, continue walking up Independencia one block to Paseo de los Heroes and turn right at the intersection.

Across Paseo de Los Heroes is Sushi Tei restaurant.

For L'Abricot Patisserie, cross Paseo de los Heroes, turn left and walk two more blocks to Antonio Caso. Turn right and the pastry shop is a few hundred yards up the street on the left hand side. Many maps mistakenly list this road as Antonio Cano!

Alternate:

Instead of walking along Juventud Oriente, you can climb the stone walls of the Tijuana River (they aren't as bad to walk on as they might look) and walk along the wide dirt paths that go along both sides of the river; it's a less noisy walk than along Juventud Oriente. Be very alert crossing Juventud Oriente, there is a lot of fast vehicular traffic traveling both directions. Also, I don't recommend walking on the dirt path alone.
